We are back this week to finish Earthless! The second half of the wad increases the difficulty and monster counts. The penultimate map being notable, with the style of classic slaughter and having its count over the 1000 mark! We shall break through and prevail!

USDQC Friday Night Survival #333 - Earthless (Part I)

We have been getting requests for an Earthless session for a while now, so the time has come! This runner up to the 2025 Cacowards was created in the span of four and a half years by Jimmy (James Paddock). The time spent on it definitely shows with impressive design and difficulty inspired by Scythe 2. That difficulty includes some higher monster counts. For our first run of the wad, we will be splitting into two parts. Those that have requested do not have to worry about missing out on any maps if we tried to power through it in a single go!

Happy New Year! Lined-up for this week’s WNDM is the Darkening and Gothic map collection, compiled by dA g0dFad3R. This compilation, known as darkgoth, consists of 33 levels compiled from SacrificeDM, The Darkening Ep 2, Lamentations, and Gothic99. The levels range from small to large with some great detailing, so it should be a great time! Come on out and bag yourself some frags!

USDQC Friday Night Survival #332 - Doomworld Roulette Session 01

This week, we will be checking out a smaller project from the Doomworld community from 2015. The goal was to use a theme generator made by jmickle66666666. Themes were generated and given numbers, which were hidden from participants. They selected a number at random and had to make a map for the theme they were assigned. The project ran for just under 2 weeks, totaling at 12 maps! While not a large wad and having an average challenge for our player counts, each map is designed for pistol starts. For the first rotation, we will be doing just that!
