Hey there, globetrotters! That's right - Friday Night Survival will be running Astral Globetrot! Released in September 2024, Astral Globetrot is a one-person megawad with 32 levels and a space travel theme. After MAP11, there are four more episodes with radically different visual identities that add new textures. and each map leads into the next one, indirectly or otherwise. While this is similar to last week's session Oripathy, Astral Globetrot should prove to be less of a difficult challenge. Come to admire the atmosphere and stay to fill your weekly carnage quota!

Most maps are connected in the sense that the end of one map resembles the start area of the next! It was praised for its aesthetic quality and was named runner-up for the 20th Annual Cacowards! We have TeamTNT’s Grievance lined up for this week. To describe the wad, well... I will just let the text file speak for itself:
“TeamTNT strikes again with yet another 32 levels of all-Deathmatch frag mayhem. Grievance, the followon to the popular TeamTNT Bloodlands set of 32 DM levels, has lots of interesting architecture, impeccable texture alignment and play balance, and (oh, yeah) FRAGS! Frags out the wazoo. As in Bloodlands, there's a variety of small tight fragfests and slightly larger ones for hunting or more players, but we tried to make sure that even in the bigger levels you have a good idea where your, um, "friend" is.”

USDQC Friday Night Survival #296 - Oripathy

Hi everybody! I hope you have been having a relaxing week. This Friday, FNS is running Oripathy, a series of speed maps developed by Origamyde. This will be a playthrough of the complete version, which includes 32 maps. The maps range from very short to medium. It is Pistol Start compatible, though Origamyde warns of the difficulty increase should you lose your inventory, so be sure to stick by your teammates! Come join the squad as we speed through Oripathy!
