Halloween is almost upon us! What better way to embrace it than a revisit to Barrels o' Fun? A wad which the premise is to fill the maps with barrels and have the players skinned as them as well. Hide in plain sight, ambush your opponents, and possibly blow them up (or oneself in the process). This should be a great session to welcome the Halloween season!

USDQC Friday Night Survival #320 - 2022 A Doom Odyssey (Part I)

This week, we will be getting some Ultimate Doom action in 2022 A Doom Odyssey! Intended to be a sequel to the 2002 wad of the same name, we get a rare Boom Compatible Ultimate Doom wad that spent five years in development. Consisting of five new episodes and ten maps per episode, we will be running through the first three this week.

We are back this week to finish the second episode of BTSX! The second half of the episode gives us more complex maps and high monster counts. We will leave Map 31 for the end of the run, due to its slaughter map design and difficulty.

Earlier this year, we ran Episode One of Back to Saturn X and did not run the second episode after. This week, we will correct that. We will also run in two parts, as we tried to make a full run of Episode One and did not quite make it through. We have run both episodes in the past, but we come back from time to time. These wads are well known for their palette, textures, OST, and enough challenge to keep things interesting, while not being impossible.
