USDQC Friday Night Survival #366 - Memento Mori 2

It has been a couple of years since we have last run the sequel to Memento Mori. While this is a megawad from 96, its design far exceeded many other wads of the era. Plenty of new textures are used and an OST so good, mappers still use tracks from it for other projects! Maps range from medium to large in size and monster counts that aren't outrageous but can still give players a few surprising and challenging encounters.

This week's WNDM wad is combination of two classic deathmatch wads filled with old school maps! The maps of Styx and Dweller are not large by any means but are not so small to keep players from moving around amongst the chaos. Instead of running the maps in order which would mean the two wads would run back-to-back, we are going to randomize the map order to make things a little more interesting.

USDQC Friday Night Survival #364 - Scythe 2

Didn't get enough Scythe two weeks ago? Good, because we are loading up the sequel for this week! Scythe 2's maps are larger and more detailed than its predecessors and is spit into six episodes. Each episode has five maps each along with its own visual style. Be forewarned, the end of each episode has a death exit requiring a player's sacrifice. Scythe 2 also has two new enemies, one you will recognize from randomization rotations, the other is a bit more infamous. If you are not aware of what it is, I'm not going to spoil the surprise!
