This week, we will be shooting it out in the Eternal Deathmatch set! This map pack uses textures and some similar designs from 1996's Eternal Doom wad, minus the puzzles that wad is infamous for. The maps have a variety of large and small, which should keep a good pace for the matches!

USDQC Friday Night Survival #312 - 1000 Lines 3

You step through the portal after the last battle, ready for what lies ahead. However, Mars City was not what you were expecting... You have been here before, prior to the invasion.

It doesn't seem like things have changed much, but then you hated this place anyway.

Grabbing your new pistol, you walk once again into the city. Just need to avoid the "Salty Cydonian" pub this time around...

Hey, folks! This week, FNS will be hosting 1000 Lines 3: Community Project! It's a 34-level vanilla-compatible megawad for Doom II initially released in October 2021. It is the third entry in the series, following 2019's 1000 Line Community Project and 2020's 1000 Lines 2 - Community Project. Like its predecessors, all included levels have no more than 1000 linedefs. 1000 Lines 3: Community Project was one of the recipients for the 2021 Cacowards!

USDQC Friday Night Survival #311 - Jenesis

Hey, folks! This week, FNS is hosting Jenesis, a speedmapped megawad! The project features 32 levels by James "Jimmy" Paddock, as well as custom music tracks by composers such as Jimmy, Stuart "stewboy" Rynn, Paul Corfatis, Theshooter7, and Xaser. Jenesis was named as one of the winners of the 2011 Cacowards.

Jimmy tells us, "The aim of this project was mainly to hone my skills in traditional Doom level design, but it was also to create a presentable set of maps which pulled inspiration from the great megawads like the Memento Mori duology, Hell Revealed, Alien Vendetta, Requiem and Scythe. These are just some of the mapsets out there that Jenesis pays homage to, thematically."
