700 uninterrupted weeks. That's how long TNS has been providing weekly dose of Survival to people in every corner of the globe regardless of their identity. The only requirement being to be a fan of Village People, it seems quite fitting to celebrate the occasion with this fresh from the oven wad that itself was created to celebrate diversity. Whether you've been nice or salty this past year, TNS is here to, um, give generously to everyone... this time facilitated by a community project from a year ago which starts with a gentle holiday gathering and gradually progresses into a true Christmas season carnage. Unfortunately without the fancy snow effect seen in the screenshots in ZDaemon but with plenty of Santa hats, holiday cheer, and even a brief sled ride to look forward to!

 

TNS #697 - Sunset Irreligion

Sunset Irreligion is a 15-map wad generous with traps and mid-tier monsters and with adequate firepower to deal with both. It feels a bit like Plutonia with fewer revenants and more ambushes but despite what might sound like a foreboding description, the difficulty is quite reasonable and coupled with a fairly straightforward map progression we have another fast-paced mapset full of action to look forward to!

For the Doom anniversary session we will go through a mapset that's so unique in its artistic execution that it just won a specialized Cacoward for it. The wad's theme is also quite fitting for the occasion because every map features a portrait of one of the developers that were involved with Doom 1. As obvious as it is by this point, see you there to celebrate Doom's remarkable longevity!
