TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE:

Phase 1 - Group stage:
Round Robin - Every team plays each other once within their group in a best of 3 fashion.
Only if there are 6+ teams in total they'll be divided into group A & B consisting of 3-4 teams each.
Points are awarded for each match in the following fashion:

4 points with a two-round win
3 points for a three-round win
2 points for a tie
1 point for a three-round loss
0 points for a two-round loss

The top 4 teams of the group advances into playoffs. If there are two groups, the top 2 teams from each group advance.
Ties are resolved in the order of; points gathered - flags scored - rematch.

Map selection - This is how the ban-phase works, as shown below:

1. Team 1 bans their first map.
2. Team 2 bans their first map.
3. Team 1 picks their map.
4. Team 2 picks their map.
5. Team 1 bans their second map.
6. Team 2 bans their second map.

Phase 2 - Playoffs - Semifinals:

4 teams advances in total, and will be seeded accordingly to how group stage went, unless there are only 4 teams total, if so Phase 2 is skipped entirely.
If group A & B will be formed, 2 from each group will advance and make a finals group.
A1 vs B2 & B1 vs A2 in a single elimination bracket, best of 3.
How the ban-phase work, check Phase 1.

Once the ban- & pick-phase is over this should leave 1 map open that's not picked nor banned, this is the tiebreaker.
If the tiebreaker map is tied in a playoff round, then teams will continuing playing the same order of maps (Team 1's map, Team 2's map, tiebreaker map, Team 1's & repeat) until one team has won a game. The first team to win a game will be declared the winner and advancing to The Grand Finals.
Phase 3 - Playoffs - The Grand Finals:
2 teams have made it this far and will battle it out in this magnificent best of 5 match!

The ban-phase is essentially the same, but slightly different order:
1. Team 1 picks their first map.
2. Team 2 picks their first map.
3. Team 1 bans their first map.
4. Team 2 bans their first map.
5. Team 1 picks their second map.
6. Team 2 picks their second map.

Once the ban- & pick-phase is over this should leave 1 map open that's not picked nor banned, this is the tiebreaker.
If the tiebreaker map is tied in a playoff round, then teams will continuing playing the same order of maps (Team 1's first map, Team 2's first map, Team 1's second map, Team 2's second map, tiebreaker map & repeat) until one team has won a game. The first team to win a game will be declared the winner of the entire tournament!
